I am unable to get ethanol quickly in my nation so I will use IPA (I'm able to use pure methanol but IPA is considerably less harmful and does not discolor my herbs).i would think about possibly, but dried would soak up the liquid, Therefore having the alkaloids permeate the herbs, and in addition i would imagine it could evap more rapidly if dried
